I’ve come to a point in my life where I’m fed up with mediocrity and I’m more determined to win. Especially now that I feel I’m finally great at something. (This didn’t happen overnight.) I thought I had been taking my dream seriously for 17 years without any major success. I finally had to ask myself “What is it that you’re doing wrong?” People truly seem to have an interest in your talent…… And everyone always seem to leave as satisfied clients. How can you make this work in your favor financially? (this is what has been going on in my mind for a long time.)
I grew up in an era and environment where crime paid. As a result, just like a fish in water, I took the bait. Although some of my decisions weren’t the best, I can honestly say I’ve had the opportunity to gain irreplaceable experiences & wisdom that only the streets could have taught me. 4 years ago this month however, I was inspired by the birth of my son to change my way of life for the better. Needless to say, I realized I needed to focus on a new source of income. The truth is, there’s no way I could allow my son to believe that leading a life of crime is ok. Especially when I already know that most cases end one of two ways. (prison or death) My problem however, was that on paper, I was an uneducated felon with no work history and most companies weren’t looking to ad someone like myself to their payroll. This is when I began to realize I had 2 choices. I could either go back to earning my income through the old ways I had grown accustom to or…. I could use the education I had obtained from the streets classroom and all the years I’ve spent in the studio to manifest my own financial success.
I decided to back off the streets and focus more on the Beats.
For years I’ve worn multiple hats and I now understand it isn’t wise to operate in this manner. I realize it’s important to focus more on what I want, than what I don’t want. I also realized it was important to grow my team and began moving forward in the appropriate direction. “Teamwork makes the Dream work.” (Nothing wrong with Unity…. hence the name “TramUnity”).
I’m determined to do more than just make good music. I work to create a success that creates more success to where the success is perpetual as well as creating opportunities for people with skill. Especially those who happen to be systematically disenfranchised.
Of course some goals happen faster than others, but I know it’s inevitable. Please understand that I mean everything I say in the most humble way. I’m loving every moment of my journey through success. I’m very appreciative to all the people who has been instrumental in my life. To each and everyone of you I’d like to say Thank You! From the smallest bit of inspiration & support to the biggest. I sincerely thank you. Whether you rock with me or not, I wish you absolute success.
I thank each and everyone of you who took the time out of your day to read my post. I appreciate you for being a part of my journey and I’m excited to share even more growth with you all. Hopefully we can benefit each other in some way, fashion or form in the very near future.
By the way, If you haven’t had the chance to check out some of my beats just yet, You can check some of them out below. (Begin at “The Second Coming” for beats only.)
